All fees are due once a year. BMX Racing is a year round Sport - so you get value for money. Depending on the kind of licence you apply for, you don't need to limit yourself to only racing at your club. You can choose to race at ANY club. For example: the Happy Valley Club races on Friday nights, The Cove club races on Sunday mornings - you can also race Tea Tree Gully, Cross Keys, Mildura, Mt Gambier etc. Check our links page for links to their website to find out their race nights. A licence consists of the following:

  There are three types of memberships

    * Open Membership $80 – An open membership allows you to ride at any club in Australia, including club carnivals and events.

    * Club Membership $60 – This membership allows a rider to compete at their own club. They will NOT be able to compete at any other club or other clubs carnivals. You will also be unable to compete at open events held at your own club.

    * Sprocket Rocket Membership $80 – The Sprocket Rocket membership is for any rider under the age of 8. The Sprocket Rocket program is a participation based program, taking the focus from competition to skill based learning programs. This allows children under the age of 8 the opportunity to tune this BMX racing skills in a fun non-competitive environment.

    * Upgrade $20 – If you choose to start on a Club Membership you can always upgrade to an Open Membership at any stage for the $20 difference.

  ·         Day Permit $15 – This licence allows a non licensed rider to ride in a club event only for one day.

Please note that these are the BMXA fees, you may also need to pay State and Club fees on top of the prices listed above.  If you do not have a licence - you cannot race as you will not be covered by insurance. Proof of age is a requirement before BMXA will process a licence.It is important that you renew your licence within 14 days of its expiry as a late fee of $20 is incurred.Replacement licence if lost will incur a $10 fee.Random licence checks can be held at any time.It is a requirement that you carry your BMX licence at all BMX events
